NFFE-IAM joined fellow labor unions, the Federal Unionists Network, and community organizers for a rally outside the U.S. Capitol in support of the Protect America’s Workforce Act (PAWA).

The legislation would implement critical policy reforms based on feedback from veterans, Veterans Service Organizations, labor representatives, VA employees, the Government Accountability Office, and VA’s Office of Inspector General (OIG).

A federal judge has indicated she will order the Trump-Vance administration to nullify the terminations of federal employees at four federal agencies.

The landmark legislation will now head to the Senate for consideration.
