This legislation is essential to restoring collective bargaining rights for hundreds of thousands of VA employees—many of them veterans—so they can speak out about fraud, waste, abuse, or management failures without fear of retaliation.

We are encouraged by the reopening of the government and strongly urge Congress to fulfill its responsibilities and provide back pay for all workers.

NFFE is now calling on the House of Representatives to act quickly to pass the Senate CR and end the suffering of workers who had no part in causing this crisis.
