We are deeply saddened and heartbroken by the tragic death of Alex Jeffrey Pretti, a 37-year-old intensive care nurse at the Minneapolis VA Medical Center.

The changes, which apply across the agency, address long-standing concerns that USFS LEO position descriptions and corresponding pay grades did not accurately reflect the scope, complexity, and risks of the work being performed.
