Annual SAVE Award Competition Officially Open; Submit Your Ideas Today!

Do you
want to make a difference by saving millions of
taxpayer dollars and make government work more
effectively? Well now’s your chance: NFFE is
encouraging all of our members to participate
in the fourth annual SAVE Award
Competition.
The
annual Securing American Value and Efficiency
(SAVE) Award competition has asks federal
employees to submit their own ideas on how to
save taxpayer dollars by improving efficiencies
at the workplace.
Since it
began a few years ago, over 75,000 employees
have submitted their cost-saving ideas and
nearly 60 have been included in the President’s
last three budgets. The winner of the SAVE
Award will have the opportunity to present his
or her idea directly to the President at the
White House. You can make a difference in
government and submit your idea
before July 24th, 2012.
