SURVEY: NFFE’s Young Federal Leaders Program Wants to Hear from You!
Tuesday, February 7, 2012(National Federation of Federal Employees)
At a
time when resources are tight, workplaces are
shrinking, and hundreds of thousands of federal
employees are nearing retirement, it is
important that young federal employees step up
to the plate and take on leadership roles in
their union. With NFFE’s emerging Young Federal
Leaders (YFL) program, young union members are
given the opportunity to do just
that.
NFFE’s
Young Federal Leaders initiative is more than
an effort to simply recruit young workers to
the union – it is the start of a movement to
revolutionize the way we do business. Young
workers are NFFE’s future, and it is imperative
that their contributions to our union family be
recognized and acted upon. YFL seeks to empower
these young leaders through education,
mentorship, and leadership opportunities in the
union. Connecting our network of experienced
union brothers and sisters with a new
generation of enthusiastic unionists will
ensure that NFFE’s proud history of defending
the rights of public servants will continue for
another 94 years.
Before
the YFL program gets underway, however, we want
to hear from all NFFE members – young and old.
Please take two minutes out of your day to take this brief survey
and do your part to secure our union’s
future.
