The American Legion, Paralyzed Veterans of America, Disabled American Veterans, and Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America were all in attendance.</description>

Just last week, Senator John Rockefeller (D-WV) introduced a companion bill in the Senate (S 2824).  The bill has three original co-sponsors, Senators Sharrod Brown (D-OH), Barbara Mikulski (D-MD), and Jim Webb (D-VA).</description>

When the FY 2008 Omnibus Appropriations Bill was signed into law last month, it stopped competitive sourcing (outsourcing) in the Forest Service in its tracks.  The bill also arranged for firefighters to receive 50% reimbursement for personal liability insurance.</description>
